Roadster: Thrust Lab

by Muhammad Bilal Khan

Try five stunt scenarios with separate thruster inputs and optional landing assistance.

Roadster: Thrust Lab is a browser physics playground credited to Muhammad Bilal Khan. Its scenario bar offers Launch Pad, Cliff Jump, Flight Lab, Wall Ride and Wall-Grip Tunnel. Telemetry shows speed, gas, wall grip, altitude and airtime while you experiment.

The controls separate rear, bottom and side thrust. Space fires rear thrust, F activates bottom thrust, and Z/C handle side thrust. Landing assistance can be switched between automatic and manual operation with M, so the way a landing is managed depends on that mode. The recorded desktop check covered driving, acceleration, scenario selection and bottom thrust with an altitude change. It was a partial test, not a full evaluation of every stunt or landing.

Player questions

How do I use wall grip in Roadster: Thrust Lab?

In Muhammad Bilal Khan's version, hold Shift to engage wall grip. G toggles the grip system, including automatic grip. This is separate from bottom thrust, which uses F. Match the author and original domain before following a Thrust Lab key list, because a different project uses the same title.

How do I drift in Roadster: Thrust Lab?

The published keyboard instructions say to brake with S while steering with A or D. On touch controls, pull the joystick back while turning. Shift is assigned to wall grip in this version, so do not use another game's handbrake layout as a substitute.

How do I switch between AUTO and MANUAL in Roadster: Thrust Lab?

Press M to switch AUTO landing assistance and MANUAL thruster control. The creator's instructions say airborne pitch, roll and yaw inputs also work in AUTO, while the autopilot levels the car before landing. F operates the bottom thrusters in either mode; Z/C is listed for side thrust in MANUAL. AUTO is assistance, not a requirement to stop using the air controls.
