Tesla Roadster production and delivery
The reveal is an event. Production and customer delivery are separate milestones, and a future target is not a guaranteed handover date.

Keep a dated timeline
The October 2026 event has contemporary coverage and an original Tesla post. Older articles describe earlier targets. Read each in its own date context instead of combining them into a single confirmed schedule.
What would establish progress
A manufacturer announcement that production has actually begun is different from saying it will begin. Customer deliveries require evidence of deliveries, not only demonstration footage, reservation availability or a product page.
How this guide is updated
We distinguish recorded events, manufacturer targets and unconfirmed plans. When a source changes, we update the relevant statement and its review date. We do not reset dates merely to make the article appear new.
